We can’t wait to welcome Chief Data Scientist at The New York Times and Associate Professor at Columbia University, Chris Wiggins to Northeastern University for a Distinguished Lecturer Seminar on Wednesday, May 29, 2024! In his talk, “How Data Happened: A History from the Age of Reason to the Age of AI,” Wiggins will explore how we came to this moment in data, how we can shape its future, and more.

Following the talk, our Executive Director Usama Fayyad will join Wiggins for a special fireside chat and audience Q&A.
